i'm absolutely obsessed with the way the movie frames conversations where the camera is shooting through a door or window and you get just a tiny bit of the frame that has all the girls in it, it's CONSTANTLY separating the camera from the physical space being inhabited (thinking as well about the conversation filmed from across a road where the cars passing by keep interrupting dialogue! damn). and then when it reverses that by hitting a long shot that shows you so much of a place as people walk through it! agh dude c'mon. gorgeous gorgeous movie. to say nothing of an absolutely incredible doona bae performance and some legit banger musical scenes. AAAAAAHHHHHH
