Kingston does not like the car. Kingston detests the car. So you can imagine how thrilled he was to move across the country yet again.
I got him a large cage that fits a small litterbox, and as far as cats traveling he’s kinda got it made. The last time we moved cross country I put in a super comfy bed he likes, but he barely laid in it and it ended up just taking extra space so this time I didn’t bother so he’d have more room. He thankfully was able to sleep for much of the drives, and he whined less often than last time.
Poor dude had to deal with three days of this, but he was a real trooper about it and it’s finally done. The thing I regret is that there’s no real way to set things up so he could see out a window during travels, and I wonder if he’d have a better or worse time if he could see the landscapes as we drove. I wonder what his perception of all the traveling is, y’know?
