Here's a picture of Kingston looking particularly regal while at my parent's place from a few years ago. My mother loves this chair, and was always worried he'd scratch it up. He's pretty good about not scratching furniture, but sometimes he'll do a little while waking up. He normally sticks to his scratching posts because I've been blessed with one of the most well behaved cats to ever exist. Boy did he love this chair, though. It's incredibly comfortable and I don't blame him sleeping in it regularly. I'm sure he misses this chair, the huge windows, the plethora of squirrels, chipmunks, and birds outside...not that he was ever outside, he's an indoor cat. He just loves to hunt through the windows. He was very spoiled by us living there for a while.
