so, my one cat, Kujo, is really skittish, we got him from a shelter. (Aside: the reason we picked him was cause he actually was tracking and following me around the shelter section he was in and immediately jumped in my arms when he was let out)

Anyway, he's super skittish even after 5 years of safe love. And whenever he wants something from you, he gently taps your arm to get your attention, and then will emit one tiny meow when you look at him. I am sitting at my computer desk, and I felt his cold wet nose nuzzle my elbow, followed by gentle tapping from a tiny paw, and when I looked at him, he meowed once, then jumped into my lap and started nuzzling my face

She's 11 months old now, through long teen and entering adult cat. Still has the kitten energy and personality tho.
