Urgent! Need to re-home this sweet kitty! (West Virginia)
So due to finally getting a chance out of a very bad living situation, my neighbor had to leave behind her cat and her two newborn kittens. Since we already have a whole darn gang of cats we were just going to be checking on Mama and feeding her. But then i noticed that one of the kittens had a really bad eye infection. In both eyes! In spite of being just a few days old and not even old enough to have open eyes. So great... now i have to take these cats in while having literally no extra money to deal with any more animals. Thankfully i was able to ask around and found a charity that would help me get the kitten to a vet. He's on antibiotics now. But there's still the problem of re-homing Mama Cat. All the no-kill shelters are full especially during kitten season.
If anyone in West Virginia (or surrounding states, i would drive to meet up) would consider adopting this very charming girl, or one of her kittens when they are old enough, please let me know.
