eepy sleepy

While in japan I had way too much meat at a fancy steak place and had LOTS of weird dreams. In one of them we needed a mad geneticist and for whatever reason we went to @atomheart for assistance. He was a mishmash of his various characters? selves? whatever, gender and species were a mess and I wasn't comfortable trying to draw that, so instead I drew the cat snake they had as a pet that was very friendly.

It had like, the snuggle instinct of a cat and the warmth seeking behavior of a snake so it was EXTRA snuggly. I cheaped out on the scales and weird fur trim it had, but you get the idea.

second little gremlin complete, shitpost head on normal-ish body. i had to look up cat skeletons because i couldn't figure out how tf hind legs worked with all the fur in the way. in hindsight the little curve there makes a lot more sense to me after seeing it in various syndicated comic strips

that's my pen on the right side holding the paper down for a better picture. i still gotta work on proportions here, so i haven't even dabbled in how to do good photos beyond rule of thirds
