In January, I took part in a Game Jam with some friends, and while it was fun, we fell short of a lot of our goals for it. You can see the original jam project here.
Anyways I've started working on it again, and now have one of our big original goals implemented: the more realistic ropes you can see in the video above. This version uses the Obi Rope particle system from Virtual Method Studio, which has been a blast to use.
Much more to do but now that the bones are in place I'm going to re-implement the basic slime enemies from the jam project, and do some tuning on the rope parameters and wrap detection.
(also, the splash art used as the title card for the video and jam project is by my friend and jam partner Corrine Stretten.)
