A few years ago, I was in a really bad art slump. It was 2020 though — who wasn't having a hard time? I sketched these studies in an attempt to pull myself out of that rut. I wanted to level up my expressions. I had also been growing my hair out, so I drew a handful of different hair lengths too. This piece felt like a good step forward from my previous drawings.
