I'll find better titles once I get over the surprise that there are people here and they're following me!

Hello to those who've chosen to see what I'm up to here. I'd like to do another solid art share now.

This year has been a lot of drawing self indulgent work and exploring my over all look and style, focusing on what about it is successful. One thing I came to decide to explore is loosening my relationship with "naturalistic" color and playing with neons.

I've also been leaning into stronger, more bold black fill and line work. I'm TOLD my inking is my strong suit, so I'm trusting all my peers that they're correct. 😛

I'll make another post soon, maybe about my DnD characters (one of which is seen above) as they're what I near exclusively drew this year as a way to get back on the art horse at ALL. Burn out's a hell of a thing. But I'm on the over all upswing on that front.

I don't think I'll ever stop drawing my DnD characters, but I think my brain is also ready to challenge its self again, conceptually. I would like to talk a bit though, in another post, about what lessons I did learn in recovering from burnout, and how "self indulgent art" can still serve as an important tool for improvement and progress.
