i saw this at the Peckhamplex, which really was the ideal place to see it. the audience made an audible ooh at the live action bits, and a disappointed noise when they saw there was a Pt 2. ultimately it probably tries to jam in too much stuff, but on the other hand... please keep making these and keep dragging people's standards for what animation should do up. just... if you're not trying to cram in as much good new stuff on the screen in every frame, then you should try harder.

also i cried at all the bits about how hard it is to come out to your dad, but also how your dad loves you, even though he's a cop. very relatable!!! (my dad is not a cop)
