I love that this thought-terminating cliche doesn't work anymore.

I love that awful people are still trying to use it and get so fucking mad when it doesn't work.

I love that we're seeing a consistent pattern of global solidarity that is putting oppressors on their back feet.

But most of all, I love that I don't feel alone anymore. I'm no longer stuck in a little bubble with people who mock me for having empathy. There are so, so many of you out there who are kind, and resolute, and fighting the good fight. No matter how bad things get, you give me hope.
