I hope you don’t mind, but since the description says that your character is nonverbal, I thought it’d be interesting if they used ASL. The signs aren’t articulated absolutely correctly.
The sign for 3 dollars is the number 3 with the wrist rotated twice. The directionality of the sign for “pay” indicates that Trader is saying “pay me”.
