Kaijune 2024 - Day 11 [Unmask]

This is the first time I've wholesale used the EXACT same kaiju so far I think? (Minus variants)

BIO:

In certain areas of Europe, multiple tremors could be felt around certain cities, notably those who had not been attacked in the Rookorigan earlier that year. As such, The Ascent sent two of their kaiju, Scour and Kyphor, to those regions in case of an underground kaiju attack.

A day after being stationed in those regions, a second incursion of Rookorigan happened, both of the Ascent's kaiju battling hordes of the amalgamated beasts. Whilst Scour was able to handle all of the Rookorigan around its region, a feat as it took the KDF multiple mechs over multiple days to quell the barrage of kaiju, Kyphor wasn't quite as lucky.

Still able to defeat a dozen kaiju, the region Kyphor was protecting had almost double the amount of Rookorigan, their gravity powers only able to control so much. Eventually, they found themselves running out of stamina, no longer able to keep their smokescreen up, allowing the public to see Kyphor in full.

Almost immediately after the attacks were staved off, questions began to flood the Ascent, as images of Kyphor made it clear that she had the telltale signs of Royal Corruption as is seen on all of the Cursed King's kaiju. As of yet, the Ascent has refused to comment.
