I'm thinking about how all my favorite girls in stuff when I was in middle school and high school were always the least popular character or like the leftover one when all the characters got paired off by fans

It wasn't intentional mind you I just somehow always got attached to those characters and then found out when searching them up

I was reflecting on them I started to realize it was like a specific character type, ya know the one that is always helping the other characters, she's the wise one that never wants anything for herself and I was thinking I'd like to make a story for them where they get their own happiness and are allowed to be selfish and their friends help them for once idk I'm just feeling emotional for the leftover girl ya know?
