i'm probably a little reductive in my criticism but this was somehow worse than episodes 7+8. I think I actually prefer Filoni's version of Thrawn, post-OT star wars. Also, if you're going to have your original characters dispatch your original villains - mara jade, ruhk / joruus cbayoth, thrawn - why even put it in someone else's universe? so the main cast can bear witness like a greek chorus? grow up.
