and here we finally have some sfw velrias, just to showcase how she's looking in dawntrail now. not too different! but still great! maybe i just wanted an excuse to take more pictures of her. the new leather healer top in the middle is a great addition to her wardrobe though. for some reason i already had a sort of black-leather theme going on her scholar set so it fits very nicely.
there'd probably be more of a visual difference if i had all the new graphics settings actually enabled, but i don't, because even trying to run the game at 60fps with low settings now grinds my gpu to 100% (i've even been limiting it to 30fps now because it just gets way too hot in my room). hopefully we can toggle these effects within gpose at some point in the future. for now though, reshade still has my back.

i'd really like to get into big fishing this expansion.

in endwalker, i had a lot of fun learning about more difficult fishing mechanics while gathering Aqueous Glioaether for expert recipes. combine that with long time fisher mains having nothing but good things to say about dawntrail's changes to the class and i'm thinking it's time to work on my casting.
