MMOs being what they were.. in a space and time that they were first made. Were so much more of a social hub where you -made- friends and did things together.

Very isolating and quiet now if you're just getting in, and even -if- you have dozens of friends in different discords.

None of em are what you could call social play anymore.

Kind of a bummer to be honest. The social aspects are in discords, talking about the game, and never actually really interacting or using that game to do activities itself. It's a medium for chatting about, not a thing to do.

And it's a shame, I feel like -everyone loves- to talk about the game. But It's a very, very, very tiny percentage that have actually wanted to play it.

Idk, i guess this is even more outside looking in. I felt less isolated -before- I started playing.
