Tam-Tara Deepcroft was by no means pleasant the first time Satora dove into it a year and a half ago, but she truly believed that this time through, no words could express the horrors of what lay within.
She had met Edda in the early days of her adventuring career. The poor girl had been abused by her party, and then her fiancee had died in their own trip into the deepcroft. Everything fell apart for her. Shortly before Satora joined the Scions, Edda had come to speak with her, to share her story, thank her for being an inspiration, and to reaffirm her own desire to continue being an adventurer despite what happened.
How had Edda fallen so far? Her wounds must have been far, far deeper than she let on. Even when Satora lost people close to her, to consider necromancy of all things? Never.
Through the hordes of resurrected corpses they fought, possessed by voidsent, the Warriors of Light had a mission. Paiyo Reiyo had already gone deeper in, they needed to catch up and make sure he was safe. They needed to put Liavinne’s body back to rest. They needed to put an end to Edda’s scheme to marry her deceased fiancee before it was too late.
