not gonna get deep in the discussion weeds rn but i will say that i did have a big smile on my face as it came to a close. a corny-ass story about how helping and believing in people is good and multiculturalism is awesome, where my grizzled adventurer gets to come out of retirement to be a mentor for a plucky determined compassionate young protagonist? absolutely the story i was in the headspace to receive, thank you so nice
As Satora stared down into the abyss known as the Yawn formed by Omega and Shinryu’s fight, she felt a deep chill in her bones. The sheer size of the hole combined with its unobservable depths spoke to just how immense the power unleashed had been. Her scholarly mind was spinning trying to calculate even the roughest of estimates at the scale. It was a miracle nobody in the area had been hit… had they?
She spun around to look in the direction Omega had come down from. The hole in the distant mountain was unmistakable. There didn’t appear to be any other damage, and nobody lived on that mountain, so perhaps it really was… fine…
The Keeper paled. There was one settlement. Clearly within her field of vision. Just barely, ilms at most to the left of the path Omega took in its crash landing, was the butte upon which the Peering Stones and the M tribe of Seekers resided.
Not even nicked. By mere ilms.
She shuddered. Praise be to Menphina for preserving them in her boundless love.
