we did 1 lockout of TEA (The Epic of Alexander: Ultimate) today and managed to get all the way to Limit Cut consistently by the end of the session! AST continues to be the most interesting healer this expansion and maintains a lot of its mechanical depth even at level 80. healing TEA hasn't been too difficult so far, but looking at heal parses i know my sage cohealer is carrying the lion's share of responsibility in phase 1. that hasn't made it any less engaging though: there's still lots of opportunities to spot heal and play adaptively with cooldowns. there's even a section where both healers have to remove 6 debuffs that kill anyone afflicted in 10 seconds! it's fun and fast and i'm really excited for the next session.

i never got quite happy with this one, hence it sitting in my drafts for a while, and i also never got a picture for it because i'm just generally unhappy with how i can get fishing pics to look (i really need to get back into custom posing); regardless, i kind of wanted to write an aemilia lore-friendly excuse to be forever obsessed with fishing. anyway, i might as well just stick it out into the ether considering we're in the final days. thanks for whoever read my little blorbo vignettes the past month - it's been nice to try out creative writing to break free of my academia writing baggage.
