AuRaugust 2023 - Day 24 - Mystery

The hyuran woman had invited the wandering auri along. They both needed the gil, and this investigation of sorts seemed like a good enough opportunity. Little did they know that what awaited them within the haunted manor would leave them winded and breathless by the time they had figured anything out. At least they had gotten paid for braving the abandoned manor and at least bringing back something of note.

Man, I just am not enjoying Viper. The combos don't really seem to make any sense. It's just mash any button make number go up. Yeah it's flashy and neat to look at, but it doesn't have that buildup to wild burst damage like RPR. There's not really much for interesting style either, just knife blender time. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to play Picto, because it's a casting job and I'm notoriously bad at casters, but it turned out to be a blast and really intuitive. This though it's just... knife. Knife faster. Knife even faster. Alright I guess?

Idk. I'ma pull a few more levels on it and see if it perks up but so far the meh is real. Maybe it's the lack of rhythm.
