i tried out that server built for emulating ffxiv 1.0(well 1.23b to be precise) it was kinda cool running around those old areas, and then well i realized oh this is so much walking around.
The quests were okay i guess, i tried uldah story first and that one just locked out after a couple steps so i abandoned that and made a new character in gridania, that one worked a lot better things did load so i got some decent progress in, but it seems like if i actually walk to places stuff just wont load, so i teleported a lot, then i had to do an objective where i had to actually walk somewhere not close to a teleporter and then i got softlocked again, so i just started running around areas with faster walking speed command, i kinda like this old coerthas more, oh well.
tomorrow i guess i will give limsa starting a try.
oh i also discovered this server that's meant for 3.3 and that one seemed to be more functional so, hmmm
