All right, progress is happening! Finished Shared FATE for Dawntrail yesterday, and finished role quests this evening! Somehow Shared FATE felt easier this time even though it was exactly the same number of FATEs as previous expansions, and there are some decent rewards unlocked after completing it. Meanwhile the role quests … were pretty unnecessary but dyeing the freebie job gear is decent for glam. I will say that most of them were entertaining at least; I hope the eventual capstone quest proves more relevant in terms of revealing something about the world or tying into other plot threads.
