Fisker Automotive is back and apparently making cars again and of course it's:
- an electric pickup
- an electric SUV
- an electric crossover (another word for "it's basically an SUV)
fucking hate like basically every car company now, man. they simply do not make cars anymore and it's infuriating because electric vehicles should be the gateway to small and compact and city cars but instead that market is also being overrun by "what if this thing was the size of a child slaughter machine" too
i'm glad we live in BC because it means every car i own moving forward can be an import and i never have to subscribe to this bullshit i will just own tiny cars forever
to be clear, not that I think Fisker was ever the company that was gonna make small cars they only ever did the Karma which was a bad electric Maserati-knock off but like... why this. who the fuck needs more SUVs dude people don't even need cars that big!! and being told they have more storage space is a fucking lie!! my van only seats four but has the same amount of cubic storage as any modern pickup alsbdkakfhkslfhskkfbks
edit: For the record, my car (a 2005 Daihatsu Atrai Wagon) has roughly the same storage space as a 2014 Nissan cube which maxes out (rear+passenger seats down) at about 58 cu. ft.
the Fisker Ocean (the SUV) caps out at 36 cu. ft. according to its specs
