A couple weeks ago I saw someone posting something about hit points, and I thought it might be good to write about my Lifeline concept. And I'm just now getting around to it. So, here goes:

I formatted the three hunts from the book as trifold pamphlets and I'm really happy with how they turned out so I threw them up on itch with a template so people can make their own hunts if they'd like! Check it out, maybe submit to the Beyond Dark Horizons jam!
One of the things I'm most excited about with this -- beyond feeling like I've settled on a good format for these hunts, and the addition of a quote for each NPC I think really ties things together and gives them a more solid place within the hunt -- is that it's reinforced the aesthetic of the game. The rest of the playsheets (playbook, reference, etc.) are currently pretty much 100% just rebranded Blades in the Dark sheets and while I'm not particularly excited about doing the work -- I find graphic design work tedious and challenging -- I am very excited about having playsheets with a straightforward but strong visual aesthetic that matches the book and is differentiated from other Forged in the Dark games.
Also -- maybe a trifold pamphlet would be a good format for a character sheet? idk ...

I just signed up to have Bump included as one of the games folks can make content for in this game jam, and I would love for you to submit your own playbooks, hunts (pamphlet format is a lot of fun), setting expansions, etc:
