Going to talk about a childhood memory I have burned into my brain


Many times in middle school, I'd miss the bus home, and I'd have to wait for hours for my mom to pick me up


My home was 13 miles away, so I couldn't just walk back. I'd be waiting till sundown for my mom to arrive...


One day, while I waited alone, this girl showed up in front of me, springing up random conversation


She looked kinda like me, but her hair was a lighter color. We also had the same backpack, only she had pink polka dots and I had purple.


She talked to me like we always knew each other, Like we've always been hanging out, waiting for our moms to pick us up...


My memory is blurry, but I'm pretty sure she was with me the whole time till my mom finally arrived.


I never got to see her again. I never saw her in school either.


. . .


Is it weird for me to think she was an angel?

Going to blab about O'hare (animal crossing) and how the devs accidentally made him queer-coded because im crazy. click the graphic below to read


So in the very first Animal Crossing game, the one on the gamecube, he could only be found on the special gameboy advance exclusive islands. In this version of the game he was the island variation of a Cranky villager, having a deep voice and being fixated on living the bachelor lifestyle (full of himself and seeing himself as the epitome of sex to women, etc.) .


After his first appearance, he isn't seen for 11 years until New Leaf is released. With the release of the game also came the unveiling of new villager personalities, with one of them being smug. Despite the cranky personality still being an option for villager personalities, the game devs decided to add o'hare back into animal crossing with the smug personality.

this decision was likely done because they didn't want to have all new villagers be smug, and be able to recycle a design that's gone unused for years to make a more diverse batch of villagers... which it probably is. But this means something to me okay.

Him going from a lifestyle that surrounded his masculinity to turning into a nerd obsessed with chiptune and anime intros paired with a higher pitched voice is very something to me.. Like i dont think I need to get into how this line from A to B could be trans-coded ... come onn he left for a DECADE and came back so different but soo similar. come on


I'm just using "trans" as a general umbrella term but honestly he could be anythang. A very genderweird rabbit who probably identifies heavily to the sea or maybe his favorite sea creature...
probably also uses neopronouns too 😈😈(projecting)


there was more i wanted to say and go more in depth on but my scattered thoughts kinda left me ... anyway this thing is awesome and is one of my fave characters ever. haveagoodday ^_^
