Perhaps I will have these on hand at XOXO? And give them to anyone who asks?
#froggy chore
Here at Froggy Chore Industries we believe in listening to the customers no matter how rude, unappreciative, or unmonetized they may be. That's why we've shipped several updates to Froggy Chore:
- The blue plus button normally pushes the due date for a chore back by one day. Now, you can press and hold the button, which will prompt you to set a specific due date, saving me (and you, but mostly me) from having to chase chores down the page if you want to delay them more than one day.
- On narrow screens the chore text will now be truncated to fit everything on screen. Previously, the screen just got wider and the layout got all funky.
- The "Show chores for [assignee]" filter will now still display even if you have the list set to hide asssignees. This helps save space when you want to hide assignees from the listing while still only viewing chores assigned to yourself.
The nerds out there will be pleased to hear that the new dialog was implemented using the <dialog> element and native date pickers using the <input type="date"> element. I would say "why the hell did it take us like two decades to implement native date pickers on desktop browsers" except I personally know exactly who to ask and can't be bothered to actually do so. Whatever.
Thanks for using Froggy Chore.
