why is it that suddenly (not before the last hour) when I turn on one of those projector lights what looks like the aurora borealis, my desktop screens go crazy??? is its bluetooth functionality going haywire because I (oops) dropped it?

when I turn it on, my task bars keep un-hiding and the screens like, "shrug"?? they slightly minimize and then go back to full size. literally made me motion sick.

i thought something was pressing a key on my keyboard or mouse, but after checking that out and restarting the computer, i figured out it was the light that was causing it??? what?
