can't believe how compelling i find this show.
the way it methodically explores the strangeness of a whole alternate society derived from the traits of animals is riveting. it's moody and dark. the emotional beats often land hard, i think probably heightened by the additional layers of meaning derived from the characters' animalistic traits. its relentlessly logical exploration of these differences fosters moments of humor and whimsy, too.
it's beautifully rendered and scored
maybe emotions hitting stronger (more easily?) with anthros is part of what being "furry" means for me
