The first six stickers in a Telegram set! I was tired of the only one in my library with yinglets being a bunch of silly faces with no specific purpose, and I wanted to draw myself a bunch of times. I shall be ze change I wish to see

(background is in Telegram's defaults, I recommend it)

Last night I finished this fursona morph as a commission for Galuade, who was a pleasure to work with on all fronts! https://furaffinity.net/user/galuade/

@yatchi

had the idea of creating a community (discord?) for furries to discuss covid issues

i see a lot of like-minded people on twitter and stuff and it seemed like a good opportunity to connect people and exchange information especially with cons and stuff

i imagine it as

  1. a solidarity network. i see a lot of furs who care, who wear masks, test proactively, who have disabilities. but you show up to an event and you can feel very alone. it's important to know that you're not alone

and

  1. an information resource. apart from the usual discussion about news, science, and mitigations, maybe you could come ask questions if you're putting on an event and want to make it more accessible. maybe you're someone who isn't careful on a daily basis but you want to learn how to make a friend more comfortable

i'm slightly surprised that something like this doesn't exist already (or maybe it does). a lot of information exchange happens on twitter (like #FurFestCovidTest, some well-known accounts, or just people venting) but obviously that has certain disadvantages. also people have different appetites for being exposed (no pun intended) to this kind of talk. so maybe it'd be helpful to have a place you can look at when you're preparing for a con, and then you can stop looking at it after. idk if that counts as an actual selling point lol

i am thinking of creating a preliminary telegram group to discuss what this will look like and where we want it to go and stuff. maybe we'll move to discord when ready

if you're interested, reach out to me on telegram! if you know others who might be interested please let them know too. you can also rt the twitter version of this post lol
