She crept along the shelf, making sure to watch her every step as she made his way across it, trying her best to ignore the snores sounding from below.

The life of a borrower was a mixed bag. On one hand, there was the peril of being caught, stepped on or eradicated by means such as traps or poisons, on the other hand food was plentiful. Especially when the homeowner purchased it in such plentiful amounts.

She glanced down from the picture shelf overlooking the massive living room. On a massive TV screen was a message box asking if the viewer was still watching, referring to the inactivity of the house owner who snoozed down below.

In a sofa directly underneath the shelf, she could see her. A mouse, not much older than herself, snoring and snoozing like she didn't have a care in the world with an array of snacks and drinks lined up on a sofa table in front of her. She couldn't help but envy her. What easy lives norms had to live to be able to fall asleep in a wide open room. Although, the wolf appreciated her more than she cared to admit. She was lucky to live in the home of such an inactive recluse, safest norm she'd ever been around...and her fondness for snacks didn't hurt either.

The wolf steadied herself and continued onward. Even if the mouse was asleep, she didn't want to waste time in case she woke up and ruined her scavenging trip to the mouse's kitchen with her own late night snacking habits. It was a dangerous journey, but one she was quite used to making. The wolf stepped along the edge of the shelf slowly putting her weight onto the foot.

As she shifted his weight, her footing slipped on a patch of dust. She reeled back to try and grab onto the edge of the shelf to save herself but missed it by a fraction of an inch and falling off. A shrill shriek sounded as the wolf fell, her life flashing before her eyes as she descended.

She clenched her eyes and prepared to impact the cold hard ground below, but instead of landing on the merciless timber floor, she landed on something entirely different. The wolf was met with something soft and warm. Her tiny body bounced on it once before landing on it again, falling in between a strange crack.

When she opened her eyes, two white furred mounds loomed on either side of her. Above her, she could see a large shape covered in the same fur. It didn't take the wolf long to realize that she had fallen right onto the mouse, landing inside her loose fitting t shirt. Panic welled up in the little borrower, and she began fidgeting and trying to free herself from her confines only to freeze up when she felt the towering mouse move, fearing she might have been spotted.

Everything shifted around her as the massive rodent yawned. The wolf felt the chest move as lungs filled with air before being exhaled loudly. Any moment, she expected the homeowner to look down at her, visions of all the cruelties norms enacted upon borrowers flooded her mind as she lay there, too scared to even try to escape the mouse's bosom.

Suddenly, gravity shifted as the mouse's body leaned to the side. Before the wolf could even gasp, the mound like mammaries at her sides were pressed together as the still sleeping mouse lay down on her side, falling fast asleep once more.

She didn't move, she couldn't. Even if she could bring herself to squirm past the fear, the weight of the mouse's breast bearing down on her made it impossible to move a muscle. The wolf struggled to catch her breath. Each sliver of oxygen she managed to gasp was fragrant with the scent of the mouse's body, and the heat was stifling. All she could do was focus on breathing and pray that the mouse didn't roll onto her stomach...and wait.

She awoke with a yawn and nuzzled into the pillow further. The sensation of the coarser against her cheek material informed her that she'd fallen asleep in her sofa...again.

Tilda wrestled herself awake and sat up. She could see the screen was still on, asking her if she was still watching. With a sigh, she reached for a remote to shut it off. Judging by the slivers of light coming in through the blinds of her apartment window, it was around morning-ish. Good thing she didn't have work, she thought.

As she was about to stand up, she felt a lump within her bosom. In her groggy state she assumed it was her phone, wouldn't be the first time she'd fallen asleep while browsing and woken up with it in her bra. Only as she moved, the lump squirmed.

Quickly, Tilda plunged her hand inside and fished the lump out, fearing a bug might have crawled inside or something, holding it at arms length and adjusting her glasses to see it better. Instead of an icky bug, a small wolf squirmed between her fingers, staring at her panicked and fidgeting.

Tilda blinked, and then she blinked again. A wide smirk spread across her face. "I knew it! I knew I had something living here!" She held the wolf closer, inspecting the borrower from head to toe. "I've never seen a borrower In person."

The wolf tried her best to push her fingers away but couldn't budge them even an inch. She tried hitting them and biting but the mouse seemed totally unphased by it. Out of desperation, she looked up at the mouse, seeing herself reflected in her large spectacles as she pleaded. "L-let me go!"

The mouse narrowed her eyes. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you."

For a moment, she felt relief. A brief moment that lasted only until the massive mouse smirked wider.

"Always wanted one of you little borrowers as a pet." Tilda continued. "And you're cute as a button, exactly what I like in a pet."

Once more, the wolf began fidgeting. "Y-you can't do that!"

The mouse narrowed her eyes. "Why not?"

"B-because i-i'm a person a-and you can't just treat me like a pe-" the wolf explained, but she was cut off by the mouse giving her a soft squeeze.

She scoffed. "Oh please. I'm letting you off easy if anything. Especially after the damage you've done to my walls. Plugging up your little tunnels isn't cheap, you know. Not to mention all the food you steal."

"T-that-" the wolf tensed up. "I-i only take scraps! It's not like you need that much!" She snapped back.

The mouse's eyes narrowed into a glare. "Are you saying I eat too much?"

She froze, immediately realizing she might have stepped out if line. "I-i didn't mean tha-"

Before she could properly apologize, the mouse rose to her feet. The fingers holding her flicked to the side, and she was sent flying through the air. After a brief terrifying fight, she landed on something soft and warm.

The wolf slowly picked herself up and looked around. She was surrounded by large pillows, lying on top of a massive cushion. It dawned on her that the mouse had thrown her onto the sofa, but the realization came too late as a shadow passed over her.

She rolled onto her back to see the mouse's huge, grey sweatpants cowered rear looming over her for a brief moment, hovering in the sky like a huge, peach shaped moon. As it began to descend, the wolf scrambled to try to get away but it was too late.

whumpfff~

Tilda plopped herself back down into the sofa, right on top of the little borrower. It was a bit harsh, but you had to discipline new pets early to nip and misbehavior in the bud while you still could.

She wiggled her hips into the cushion until she could feel the squirming little lump of a wolf under her right cheek, just above where it met her thigh. Tilda giggled. "I'll get off when you're ready to apologize." She said as she pulled her phone out for her pocket.

The squirming intensified at her words, sending a tingle up the mouse's body. She let out a giggle and sat back in the sofa, searching for a suitable cafe for her new pet online. What a great way to start the weekend.
