Following Dr. Eniiyi Adebayo's return to the character-drawing spotlight, this guy showed up! I must say it is rather deceptively tricky to draw a poncho, but it was worth it to really sell the Old West flavor I was going for. This is not to say the alternate didn't take a bit of effort as well, but I like how both came out.
One of the major perks of living in a world of shapeshifters is that one's form is never set in stone. Luciano del Rio was not born a jerboa, but even when he was young, he saw himself in the jerboa more than he did his birth form. Once he became old enough to transform on his own, it wasn't long before he was racing through the desert fields of his home as a long-eared, long-tailed mouse with powerful jumping legs.
Luciano faced difficulties with his new form early on, such as having to change his legs to something more practical for a humanoid body. However, he does not regret the lessons learned one bit, as they were important to his journey to become his ideal self. Every day, he goes on a run through the desert, leaps over whatever is in his way, and climbs what he cannot vault. This exercise regimen keeps him at peak health even on days when his regular life is comparatively sedate.

Inspired by a patreon picture we finished ealier this month, it was a blast to work on another fun beach picture, and another cute cow picture too! Wolves helped design Jecko's cow sona and there's something really rewarding about being asked to draw them again, the design's appreciated and we can improve on how we draw her each time. This one took longer than we would've liked due to some mental health slumps but we're slowly getting back on track with drawing consistently, or so I hope, fingerpaws crossed~ - 🍓 Rose
