Update on Ashley: she is still in prison and is now taking a paralegal course remotely. She hopes that she will be able to help other trans prisoners. My sister also gifted her a set of D&D 5e books, and she runs multiple games in her unit, and lets other prisoners borrow her books so they can run games. D&D is a really big deal in the prisons where they allow folks to play.
