After struggling a lot with a sketch I did almost two years ago, I finally got myself to a place I'm really happy with. The inking with pens was not working for me, so this lines were done mainly with one of Clip Studio's default pencil tools. Shading was done with the default wetwash brush with all black, and I used the layer color feature to overlay a dark green base color and a navy sub color set on about 70% opacity. The scales were done with another layer set to "lighter color" and the Rough Graphite Pen downloaded for free of the Clip Studio asset store.

I originally was planning to sell this little guy as an adoptable, but after so much work and so many years and attempts on this piece, I think I'll keep him.
