the other day i made a joke about the david bowie/gary numan rivalry, and how i was like, "no! be friends!! i like both of you so you have to!" and then i went off on a tiny tangent about how i was going to introduce them to each other like you introduce two cats, giving them treats together, letting them smell each other through the door, have them try each others instruments for an afternoon, etc.
the idea has been living in my head since then and it sure is something.
