So I think Aerial's designed to be a Gundam-killer.

The biggest thing that makes me think this is the panic burst that Aerial releases when the Pharact is closing on it:

This reminds me a lot of another attack that we've seen before that also disabled GUND-Bits, even though it looks slightly different:

This definitely feels like an improved version of Beguir-Beu's link suppression field that disables GUND-Bits but also tampers with the pilot's link to the main body? That'd explain why Elan sees Aerial and the Bits as spirits. I'm really excited to see where this ends up!

yeah i was thinking this too

this does make me wonder how much Prospera knows about Peil and other company's gundam tech. Her conversation with Belmeria both implied that she wasn't aware of other Vanadis survivors, but also that she knew Peil were producing enhanced people and that there were probably multiple Elans.

given shaddiq is likely next on the duelling block (and he has the new Grassley suit that looks like a successor to the Beguir-Beu) I'm curious to see how he and the company will respond to this capability being revealed too.
