Another brain-rot illustration for my eve group. Our Chinese and Russian frenemies have thrown some really poetic taunts around that felt like shonen manga dialogue to me, so i harnessed the brain worms and made a page of that manga real. Also I’ve been watching a lot of Witch from Mercury so that snuck in a bit. This was way outside my usual art wheelhouse and honestly I’m pretty proud of it, even if it’s just a gag.

this is mostly just a redraw from the show but I'm okay with that, it was fun to study it and try to do things my way, I cropped the picture to focus more on them but to still have Miorine's suitcase on there. Their hairstyles retained some of what they had before but I like the redesign touches, Suletta not wearing the headband and having no pointy bit, Miorine cutting it short and not trying to have it both ways, it feels like a natural change.
