I have yelled about The Morrigan to plenty of people in private and on discords; now it's time to yell about it out loud, because it's good, dammit.

The Morrigan is a canon-divergence fanfic that picks up just before the events of Episode 20 of Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch from Mercury, and it does some very, very interesting things with the universe by averting the incredibly rapid resolution of the anime, and instead creating a new status quo.

Featuring:

• A new hero suit, the titular Morrigan: a cleverly modified rust bucket held together by collective forces of [Spoiler] and [Spoiler]
• Morse code communication through jewelry
• References to a much wider range of English literary canon and Brecht
• An extremely audacious reveal in Chapter 11 that makes complete and total sense in the show's world, and made me nearly stand up out of my chair

There are after credit scenes!?!?

One of my favorite things about Guel, Shaddiq, and 4 as villains in the show is that their shared villainous trait is that they all claim ownership over women because of an imagined, idealized version of them, and consequently get beaten into submission until they're forced to see Suletta and Miorine for who they actually are.
