Building gunpla is fun. This is my first time doing it, working on the Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran figures (because duh I'm gay), and, as someone used to putting together Games Workshop models with their notoriously shit quality control... handling these finely-detailed parts that snip cleanly off sprues, come in multiple colors, and just fit together is kind of euphoric.
Losing pieces is not. I submitted a claim to Bandai to see if poor Suletta can get a new hip joint. If not, she's gonna be walking funny for all the wrong reasons.
Otherwise not much is happening. Work is kicking my ass, because of course it is, back when work was calm I had nothing exciting in my life and was bored shitless, now that I have an obsession work is demanding far more time and attention than I want to give it.
Still really obsessed with RWBY and the fanfic community. I figured out how to load longer fics onto my Kindle, which makes them much more readable. Published a couple more things myself; my longer chapter piece The Curse of the Abominable Snow-Grimm continues to do well and earn nice comments. I also dropped some pure sapphic smut with Midnight Breakfast (Ruby x Pyrrha), which is always fun to write. And I'm continuing to put together a really big work for the Bumbleby Big Bang 23.
Oh, and thve live-action Little Mermaid was appalling bad, and Disney just needs to stop.
Lord help me I'm back on the Grassley Defense System's bullshit. Been a while since I built that Beguir-Beu.
Overall, still a fantastic build. The unique shapes of Grassley mobile suits means that this was a pretty quick build for the main body and the legs had a bit of a Real Grade energy to them where you build the leg frame first and then stick the armor pieces on afterwards. Had some sticker headcaches for the inside of it's arm cannon and I haven't built the wire module/drone mode (or it's stand), but I'll deal with that once I get more shelf space (yes I'm finally starting to run out of shelf space for these things. Only took about half a year......).
