The next season of mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury begins tomorrow (the first is all on Youtube now) so I went back to episode 12, and it's all about transitions. Big moment after big moment, revelations keep dropping, sure, but each of them says "what came before is gone, what's next is new". And that also holds with the small moments, like Suletta passing through a threshold and stepping onto blood splatter on the other side. But there's one I want to talk about more, so spoilers after the Read More.

For a hot minute I thought both RWBY and Witch from Mercury had new episodes dropping today. Damn am I glad to be wrong. Given where both of their respective stories are at, I don't think I could've taken that much psychic damage at once.
Accidently screwed up building a Barbatos kit, so I decided to work on the only G-Witch kit I had instead. It went surprisingly well.
Had a few problems with the GUND-circuitry stickers for the legs and back, but everything else went pretty smoothly (this has been pretty much the one time I've haven't had trouble with eye stickers, even with the separate ones that Aerial has). Still in awe that the G-Witch kits built so far are all Polycap-less and are still so insanely posable without them. Also the bits just look really cool regardless of whether they're in the shield or in Bit-On form.
Don't have the open palm hands so I can't 100% have Aerial in the signature pose from the end of Episode 1, but hopefully I'll get the equipment pack with those at some point.
Got my latest Gunpla shipment full of G-Witch kits, so of course I beelined for the Mirasoul Flight Unit+Hands expansion for Aerial so I could finally get her Episode 1 pose nailed to a T. Probably won't get much use out of this flight pack until I get more stands, but its still a neat shape to look at.
Of course gotta keep the other open hand part for a later kit for Maximum Shitpost purposes. If you know, you know.
I wonder what causes those vertical lines. I'm using an iPhone camera. Some more decals and then some flat topcoat to go!
