took a 1.5 day vacation to a cabin in the woods, with a porch and trees and a firepit and kayaks. left my laptop at home and barely touched my phone. was really really fucking good. showed me very much that my body and mind really miss easy access to nature (i grew up in the woods of course they fucking do ;_;), and that ive been spending too much time swamping myself with stimulus. its all so much harder when youre not at a cabin in the woods, though, and are instead in a drywall box third floor apartment with no balconies or communal outdoor space aside from a featureless strip of grass. it was a very temporary respite from urban poverty

One thing I find troubling about the messaging of pro-Israel defense, as I do with pro-USA defense, is the belief that fascism isn't a problem or can be reformed. I don't believe in upkeeping or gentle parenting expressly fascist nation-states.

As I believe in ending the U.S., I believe in ending Medinat Yisrael. Both must be pulled out from the roots and replaced with equality for all in governments that serve the folks governed. There cannot be peace without justice.
