There was an indie game. Free. 3D. There were multiple levels, but the first level was on a platform made up of identical gray square prisms floating in a void. Over time (and possibly in response to jumping) the prisms would shift and rotate, slowly making the ground harder to stand on. If you fell off you died. You had to survive until a massive wave visible in the distance reached you. All you could do was run around and jump, and there may have been LAN multi-player.
There were two resources to collect, which would spawn randomly. One was "food" (or possibly "fuel") which ticked down over time. You needed it to stay alive. The other was "tech" I think. It didn't decrease and the more you had the higher you could jump, which was important as the level continued. I think food was green and tech was yellow, although it could have been the other way around.
The game wasn't complete and I first heard about it in a YouTube Let's Play/Review by someone who may have been in the general orbit of the likes of Kurt J Mac. This was easily over a decade ago.
Does anyone else remember this? I've been looking for it for years. I want to check it out.
