This 1988 OVA is 30 minutes of animated magic. Heavily influenced by the works of Möbius, it's a short tale of a robot called SHAIAN & a human called Ikuru battling across the deserts of postwar Brazil.

a murder of ravens
a dray of squirrels [this may also refer to their nests, unclear to me at this time; "drey" was the spelling used]
a turble of leaf eddies

additional notes: more broadly, to turble is to flow, violently, swirling, unpredictable. it comes from words like "turbulence" and "turbulate", shortened to feel more visceral and sensory. it's the process of something becoming more complicated and Becoming More Complicated, or alternatively that process and flow in the midst of its imperceptible chaos. I'm quite proud of the word and come back to it often - more often than any other coining of mine.

Okay. So, that's an electrical cord. Relationship to plumbing is arguable, I suppose - but it's still not in that sale category.
