So, I know everyone hates Youtube's anti-adblocker stuff, and thankfully there's a way around it.

And that's the way around it. The following is the link inside the tweet if you don't want to bother with twitter https://files.enderman.ch/scripts/yt-antiadblocker.html

However, something odd I noticed since implementing it myself is that I can't seem to scroll on youtube pages anymore. This is preventing me from leaving comments on videos I particularly like.

Look, I will gladly, take any opportunity I can to absolutely fuck over online advertisers and their annoying attempts to ruin my fun, but this feels like a.... problem. Can anyone check the provided link and tell me if any code there would prevent scrolling pages even if by accident? I know this site is chock full of programmers and CSS criminals, so surely someone can tell me if I'm right to make this assumption or not.

Update, apparently comments work again. I can scroll now.

No clue what the deal was, but hey, at least it is solved.

Further update, it seems the problem is now back for me. I suppose it's gonna be one of those "It comes and goes" type deals. Man, why did Youtube have to be such a dingus?

Okay.... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOkay... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKAY
So I got one more update. APPARENTLY, without that script from the original post, ublock Origin in Microsoft Edge works well and skips the anti-adblock stuff without cutting off the ability to scroll. Meanwhile the non-scrolling problem is common in Firefox. What gives?

Is this a Firefox problem, or are the big companies trying to kill Firefox? Don't get me wrong, I think Edge works, but the fact that I can't open a new tab on my homepage really annoys me.

Previous questions from previous posts still stand, if someone can make a script for Firefox uBlock Origin that completely destroys the anti-adblock without locking the scrolling and commenting ability, I'm all ears.
