It's... Nerubians again? But this time we're more sympathetic to their plight (maybe?) because we're shown they not only resisted the Black Empire (she RE-Movie Laser-Trapped his ass with a single claw), but they had Poor and Hungry and such as well.
So it's literal, I suppose, this War Within. It's all Xalatath, but like, with the backing of whom?? The Black Empire was supposed to be the big universal bad, right? It was supposed to be whom the titans fought against, and the whole Light Vs Dark situation in the universe. We 'ended' the Burning Legion, a minor army in the grand scheme of the cosmos, but, now what?
Still waiting for Blizzard to have the balls to make the Light the enemy. After what happened on Draenor in WoD, in the distant timeline where that one lightforged draenei Paladin lead a crusade to purge the orcs across the planet, and how in Legion, the Naaru tried to conscript Illidan, it's like... Perfect opportunity for Light-based villains here, but nooooo.
IDK, I'm constantly on the fence about WoW. Lots of nostalgia hooks in me. I'm supposed to be playing Dawntrail atm anyway, but PoE Kalguur got its hooks in me baaaad.
