Have I shared my family's singghot recipe yet??

  • Parang adobo pero mas matamis at maanghang, ayaw lang ng tatay ko na tinatawag ko na singghot kasi di seryoso yung pangalan kaya mas na insist niya na tawagin 'Sweet and Spicy Braised Porkc' and Im like- that's too pretentious gahdamn-
  • Translation: Its like adobo but sweeter and spicier, my dad just doesn't want me to call it singghot all the time since the name isn't serious (singghot = the sniffing thing that people do when they eat a lot of spice like its a bit hard to breathe) and it's why he insists on^

Maybe Ill share it if y'all raise your friendship points with me, for now Ill give away some recipes I can remember off the top of my head if I cook 'em again,

Is it weird to think that the pinnacle of whatever kind of love life I end up having would include boxing each other at least once?

Like, trading blows and throws with another person to exhaustion is the pinnacle of trust to me. There is an inherent rule to a consensual martial spar, where fighting isn't done out of violence but competition and when competitors can trust the maintenance of this agreement. When after either side is done and spent the other won't finish the job or start kicking while they're down.

I think I'll seek a love that can punch just as well as it can talk. That might be one ideal worth shooting for.
