more birds in flight

thoughts pretty fun. feel like most of the improvements i got this time were in understanding bird behaviour rather than technical camera skill. very much understand the need for patience when you're doing this kind of thing.

most (all?) of these were shot on manual focus because my camera was misbehaving, which i think probably just works better, at least when you're not on mirrorless. long distance tracking is easier than i expected.

all shot on 5diii / tanrom 18-300/3.5-6.3 / 1.4x tc to make it cover 35mm

i remember in the past i was like "why the hell do vertical mice exist?? they look so stupid and uncomfortable"

little did i know. i was going to become the vertical mouse user. i understand why they exist now. my hands have never been more comfortable.
