it's really fun how tabs in Android Chrome will somehow unexpectedly wind up in the middle of my forest of 500+ tabs and when I open a new tab to quickly check a definition or something I can't get back to the previous active tab that's become lost deep in the tab forest that it shouldn't be in

I think it has something to do with opening links from other apps. like sometimes they just get dumped somewhere in the middle, I think. I hope they haven't been overwriting old tabs that I was totally going to get around to reading, otherwise I'll never understand what people have been saying about [specific comically old and irrelevant drama that people don't need to be reminded about]
