Today I participated in my first Star Wars Unlimited tournament (store showdown) not expecting to do well, but to just have fun. I ended the tournament 3-1 with Chirrut Red and got 4th place overall. I'm really happy with my performance. My rewards were two special Mace Windu cards.

Well, this was a disappointment. A graphic novel memoir about loosing your voice, the concept behind Dumb is interesting, but the book leaves much to be desired. One of the main issues is that you never really connect with the author. You know her muteness causes her physical pain, emotional pain, and disrupts her life, but you discover little more about Webber. The other problem with Dumb is the art. The drawing are rough and chaotic, becoming more discombobulated as the story advances. This is probably to visually express the author’s frustration with her mysterious condition, but it made reading the book frustrating. It’s a shame, because there was potential here for this to be such a good comic memoir.
