I feel weird being like "Yes I WOULD like to see targeted advertising on this webzone" but the difference here is that it's all, like, manual. it's not trying to scrape my data to sell to the highest bidder, it's me manually subscribing to specific tags. it's not bot-uploaded amazon listings putting 50 keywords in the product name, it's just some dude that made a thing and manually paid the cohost staff to put it on the artist alley. There's a lot more accountability and control over what gets shown and what doesn't.

There's plenty of empty space on the sides there and if there was a dedicated spot where i could put my video game and the people that see that ad are guaranteed to be at least a little interested (because they signed up for it themselves) then i'd be much more willing to keep puttin' ads on the AA.
